FBI Behind the Scene – The Career of Al Scudieri

Al Scudieri is a 30-year FBI veteran whose career reflects decades of FBI behind the scene experience across major U.S. and international offices. He served in New York, Birmingham, Washington D.C., San Juan and Tampa, working on complex investigations that shaped national enforcement priorities.

In Tampa, he supervised major cases involving public corruption, investment fraud, healthcare fraud, Defense Department fraud and bank failures, real FBI case stories that highlight the depth and pressure of federal investigations.

Many of his cases were featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Forbes Magazine and CBS’s 60 Minutes, reinforcing his role in high-impact federal work.

He also served more than twenty years on FBI SWAT teams and later continued his investigative work after retirement as a chief investigator for law firms and ABC News’ World News Tonight investigative unit. Today, he serves as the past president of the Former FBI Agents Association.
